The official X (formerly Twitter) account for Xemono and WSS Playground's NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE video game — released in the West as NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD — today announced that a TV anime adaptation is in production for a planned April 2026 broadcast. An official anime website was also opened, revealing a trailer, key visual and staff details. The Steam page for the English release features the following description: NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD is a “multi-ending ADV” depicting daily life with “OMGkawaiiAngel”, a young girl with a rather extreme need for approval attempting to become the #1 “Internet Angel” (streamer).
