Ai Yazawa’s NANA manga celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, and it’s doing so in style with a very fitting collaboration with luxury fashion brand Vivienne Westwood. As Cosmopolitan revealed , the collaboration comes to life in the form of a limited-edition cover of the manga’s 25th anniversary edition. Ai Yazawa provided the illustration, which adorns an edition with stylish sprayed edges. The NANA manga started its run back in 2000 and inspired an anime adaptation by Madhouse in 2006. VIZ Media publishes the manga and describes it like so: Anxious to get into a Tokyo groove, both women are on the prowl for a funky and cheap place to live. But inexpensive apartments in Japan’s capital city are hard to find. Thank goodness each Nana has a clique of cool friends willing to help out. Too bad these friends are a little eccentric!
