The official website for the second live-action movie inspired by the Mr. Osomatsu anime series, titled Eiga Osomatsu-san Jinrui Kuzu-ka Keikaku !!!!!? (translated to Mr. Osomatsu The Movie: The Plan to Turn Humanity into Scum!!!!!? ), announced today that the film is newly set for a release in Japan on June 12, 2026 . The film was originally scheduled to release on January 9, 2026, but has been postponed due to various circumstances. Group and Takuya Nishimura from Kansai Junior newly play the sextuplet Matsuno brothers in the second film. The cast members to play the sextuplets are as follows: Osomatsu played by Seiya Suezawa (Ae! Group） Karamatsu played by Yoshinori Masakado (Ae! Group） Choromatsu played by Masaya Sano (Ae! Group） Todomatsu played by Takuaya Nishimura (Kansai Junior) The synopsis reads (translated): The Matsuno sextuplets—Osomatsu, Karamatsu, Choromatsu, Ichimatsu, Jushimatsu, and Todomatsu—are still virgin NEETs who don't have a permanent job, living off their parents even after turning 20. Ignoring their parents' wish for them to become ordinary adults, the sextuplets continue living their usual scummy lives. But one day, everyone's attitude toward them suddenly changes. What on earth is going to happen to the world!? The Mr. Osomatsu TV anime series has aired for four seasons from 2017 to 2025. Crunchyroll, which is streaming all four seasons , describes Mr. Osomatsu as such: Mr. Osomatsu is based off of the gag manga series Osomatsu-kun by Fujio Akatsuka, and ran from 1962 to 1969.
