The official website for the musical adaptation project based on Ryosuke Takeuchi (story) and Miyoshi Hikaru (art)'s Moriarty The Patriot mystery manga series announced today that its new show is set to perform from June to July 2026. The title of the new show, which will perform to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the manga's serialization, is Moriarty The Patriot: A Study in Scarlet Reprise . The site also released a teaser trailer and visual for the upcoming show. In the next show, how the “Lord of Crime” came to be and how he met the “Great Detective”—the origins of these two fated figures will be revealed. Shogo Suzuki and Ryo Hirano, who played William James Moriarty and Sherlock Holmes since the first show, will reprise their roles once again. Additionally, Hideyuki Nishimori, who has been involved in all shows to date, will continue to handle scriptwriting, lyric writing, and direction.
