Monster High Celebrates ‘Edward Scissorhands’ 35th Anniversary with Skullector Doll

Monster High is celebrating the 35th anniversary of Edward Scissorhands with a new Skullector doll.

Priced at $70, sales will launch next Thursday, December 4, at 9am PT exclusively from Mattel Creations.

Director Tim Burton‘s signature style blends seamlessly with the Monster High aesthetic on the doll, which stands 10.5″ doll and features 11 points of articulation.

In addition to hands adorned with scissors, it features a faux leather bodysuit with buckle straps, sheer skirt, mechanical heart headband, and knee-high boots with heels featuring movie-related Easter eggs.

The Skullector doll is housed in fold-out packaging along with a doll stand and a certificate of authenticity.

Johnny Depp stars in the 1990 gothic romantic fantasy with Winona Ryder, Dianne Wiest, Anthony Michael Hall, Kathy Baker, Vincent Price, and Alan Arkin.

Written by Caroline Thompson (The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Addams Family), the film follows a gentle boy with metal shears for hands whose solitary life is upended when he is taken in by a suburban family.

Edward Scissorhands was recently released on 4K Ultra HD and Digital to commemorate the anniversary.
