A special livestream for the upcoming Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi anime today revealed a brand-new visual and a July 9 at 24:30 JST (effectively July 10 at 0:30) release date for Japanese television. United Cinemas Aqua City Odaiba will host an advance screening event on June 21 with main cast members Minami Hinata, Yurina Amami, Aoi Koga and Yoshino Aoyama in attendance. Furthermore, starting tomorrow, new character trailers for Yu and the Mikadono sisters will be released weekly on the anime's official accounts. Tadahito Matsubayashi ( VINLAND SAGA episode director) directs the anime adaptation at studio P.A. Works, with Yusuke Inoue ( Skip and Loafer animation director) providing the character designs. The series follows Yu Ayase, who the Mikadono family takes in after the death of his mother, a popular actor. Already struggling with living up to his mother’s legacy, now Ayase is surrounded by three prodigy sisters: actor Kazuki, martial artist Nico and Shogi player Miwa.
