Konami had a handful of reveals during yesterday’s PlayStation State of Play presentation, including a look at the contents of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 . The second batch of games includes a big one in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots , marking its first port since the original version launched on PlayStation 3 back in 2008. Volume 2 also includes Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker , which debuted on PSP in 2010. The version here is specifically the one from 2011’s Metal Gear Solid HD Collection . Rounding things out is Metal Gear: Ghost Babel . The 2000 Game Boy Color entry that made its way over in English simply as Metal Gear Solid will be included as bonus content along with screenplays, master books and more from the other games, as well as Metal Gear Solid: Digital Soundtrack Vol. 2 . Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 launches for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC (Steam) on August 27. Additionally, the collection packs a Screenplay Book containing in-game text from the two premier titles, a Master Book detailing the story and characters, a Digital Soundtrack, and a Database** covering the vast lore from Metal Gear to Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
