Today, singer Kenshi Yonezu released his new single, featuring songs from both sports anime Medalist and this season's Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX . Bringing these two very different series together is the art of Medalist creator Tsurumaikada, who pens characters from both series for the single's official cover art. The one-of-a-kind artwork unites characters from both series as they face off against each other in a sparkling battle—but is it the glitter of the ice rink or the "kirakira" of Machu's Newtype powers? Yonezu, who also famously performed Chainsaw Man opening theme "KICK BACK," put his own artistic skills to work creating cover art for each individual song on the single—"BOW AND ARROW" from Medalist and "Plazma" from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX : "BOW AND ARROW" art by Kenshi Yonezu "Plazma" art by Kenshi Yonezu RELATED: Voice Actor Kiyono Yasuno Releases New Music Video "Yannaruwa" The single is available in four versions: the "Haro version" and "Installer Device version" (both inspired by elements of GQuuuuuuX ) as well as the "Regular Version Plazma/BOW AND ARROW" and the "Regular Version BOW AND ARROW/Plazma." Hulu currently streams past episodes of figure skating anime Medalist , while Amazon Prime streams Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX as it airs. The streamer describes this latest installment in the Gundam franchise: Amate Yuzuriha is a high-school student living peacefully in a space colony floating in outer space. When she meets a girl named Nyaan, Amate is drawn into the illegal mobile suit dueling sport known as Clan Battle. Under the entry name "Machu," she throws herself into fierce battle day after day, piloting the GQuuuuuuX. Source: Comic Natalie
