Matsurika Kanriden Anime Adaptation Announced

An official X (formerly Twitter) account opened today announced that a TV anime adaptation of Rinne Ishida and Izumi's Matsurika Kanriden historical drama light novel series is in production. Additional details about the project, such as staff, cast and release date, were not confirmed at the time of reporting. Commemorative illustrations were provided by Izumi and manga adaptation artist Waka Takase. A 2022 promo video released for the latter featured Rie Takahashi as the voice of Matsurika and Nobunaga Shimazaki as Hakuyo.
