Mario has been celebrating his 40th anniversary this year, and the party continues at the 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Nintendo of America and Macy’s announced a new Mario balloon that will mark 40 years since the original Super Mario Bros. game launched in 1985. The Mario balloon measures 51-feet and 2-inches long, 37-feet wide and 43-feet and 8-inches tall. Decked out in his classic outfit, Mario sports a pose inspired by his appearance in Super Mario Galaxy , which recently returned in a collection and will be the focus of the next CG-animated film.
