Magical Sisters Lulutto Lilly Anime Reveals New Visual

The upcoming original magical girls TV anime Magical Sisters Lulutto Lilly (known as Mahou no Shimai Lulutto Lilly in Japan) released a new visual today featuring the main characters, Fuu and Rui Nonoyama, transformed into their grown-up idol counterparts. The artwork is illustrated by Hiroko. The series begins broadcasting in Japan in April 2026 . Shintaro Doge directs and provides the original character designs for the series at Studio Pierrot, with series composition and scripts by Yuko Kakihara and animation character designs by Namiko Torii, Hirono Nishiki and Asami Sodeyama. The story of Magical Sisters Lulutto Lilly follows Fuu Nonoyama, an innocent elementary school student who is looking forward to summer vacation, and her older sister, Rui Nonoyama, a diligent middle school student who is modest and hardworking. Fuu and Rui used to be very close, but recently they've been growing apart. One day, Fuu encounters a mysterious spaceship and is granted magical powers. Rui also acquires magical powers, and both of the girls gain the ability to transform into the adults that they've dreamed of becoming. However, their magic comes with two conditions: it only lasts for a year, and it must be kept a secret at all costs.
