Maebashi Witches Anime Idol Group Announces First and Second Albums

The real idol group at the center of the Maebashi Witches anime has already performed their first live concert, with a second on the way. Now, they have their first and second albums locked in! The group's first two albums will release on July 30 and September 24 , respectively. The first, titled Ageratum, will include 10 songs: "Sugo Sugi Maebashi Witches!" (full version) "Yume-yo, Sake!" (full version) "Shabon Tension" (full version) "You Are My World" (full version) "MUTEKI PAYAPAYA" (full version) "Meteor Shower" (full version) Plus four new original songs RELATED: Maebashi Witches Anime Cast Performs "Shabon Tension" Live in Latest Concert Clip The track list for the second album, Geranium, will be announced at a later date. July 30 also marks the release date for the anime's original soundtrack. This album will include the background music from the series, as well as TV-size tracks for the opening, ending and insert songs. Junichi Yamamoto ( More than a Married Couple, but Not Lovers. ) directs Maebashi Witches at SUNRISE Studios, with Erika Yoshida ( BOCCHI THE ROCK! ) on series composition. Nozomi Tachibana ( Kemono Jihen ) adapts Yu Inami's original character designs for animation and Yuri Habuka handles music. Five newcomer voice actors, who play aspiring witches in Gunma Prefecture's Maebashi City, join an industry veteran for the original anime's core cast: Yuina Akagi voiced by Sakura Kasuga Azu Niisato voiced by Hinano Sakikawa Kyoka Kitahara voiced by Rena Motomura Choco Mitsumata voiced by Haruka Minami Mai Kamiizumi voiced by Honami Momose Keroppe voiced by Tomokazu Sugita The series is now streaming on Crunchyroll , described thus: Welcome to Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture.
