Live-Action BLUE LOCK Film Reveals Main Cast

After twelve daily announcements with accompanying visuals, the main soccer team of the BLUE LOCK live-action adaptation is finally assembled. Yusuke Taki directs, based on a screenplay by Tetsuo Kamata. CREDEUS ( Kingdom , Golden Kamuy films) is producing the film. Adapting the award-winning manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura, Yuji Haibara ( The Slime Diaries ) directed the second season of BLUE LOCK anime at studio eightbit ( That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ), with series composition by Taku Kishimoto, character designs by Kenji Tanabe and music by Jun Murayama. A new anime was announced alongside the live-action film . Crunchyroll streams both current seasons and BLUE LOCK THE MOVIE -EPISODE NAGI- , describing the story like so: Japan’s desire for World Cup glory leads the Japanese Football Association to launch a new rigorous training program to find the national team’s next striker. Three hundred high school players are pitted against each other for the position, but only one will come out on top. Who among them will be the striker to usher in a new era of Japanese soccer?
