Yusuke Taki directs, based on a screenplay by Tetsuo Kamata. CREDEUS ( Kingdom , Golden Kamuy films) is producing the film. Adapting the award-winning manga by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yusuke Nomura, Yuji Haibara ( The Slime Diaries ) directed the second season of BLUE LOCK anime at studio eightbit ( That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ), with series composition by Taku Kishimoto, character designs by Kenji Tanabe and music by Jun Murayama. A new anime was announced alongside the live-action film . Crunchyroll streams both current seasons and BLUE LOCK THE MOVIE -EPISODE NAGI- , describing the story like so: Japan’s desire for World Cup glory leads the Japanese Football Association to launch a new rigorous training program to find the national team’s next striker.
