The official website for Kohaku Uta Gassen revealed the song list for this year's 76th edition. Among the 40 performers, singer LiSA — who will make her fourth appearance on the program since 2021 — is confirmed to sing " Zankoku na Yoru ni Kagayake" (“Shine in the Cruel Night”), the theme song for the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle film. During her performance, a special footage from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime edited exclusively for the Kohaku stage will also be broadcast. As LiSA' 24th single, "Zankoku na Yoru ni Kagayake" released on July 24, 2025, ranking #7 in Oricon's weekly single charts .
