The official website for the TV anime Let's Play unveiled a new visual ahead of its premiere in Japan tomorrow, October 1. This newly drawn visual by production studio OLM depicts the anime's four main characters gathered at The Daily Grind, the cafe the protagonist Samara “Sam” Young frequents. Additionally, the site also posted the anime's creditless opening movie featuring the opening theme song "1, 2, Play" sung by Japanese R&B singer Toshinobu Kubota. The opening movie was co-produced by Kamikaze Douga, known for producing the opening movies for the TV anime JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Pop Team Epic , and Bobby Pills, a French animation studio involved in projects such as Creature Commandos and Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix . Let's Play Creditless Opening Movie Kubota, who also provides the anime's ending theme song "Left & Right," shared the following comment on the songs: It's been a full 30 years since I last received a request to compose an anime theme song. I thoroughly enjoyed this American-born story depicting the love lives of today's youth, feeling like I was part of their generation. No matter the era or age, the feeling of falling in love is universal. I hope you enjoy my songs alongside the anime. Both the opening theme "1, 2, Play" and ending theme "Left & Right" will be available digitally on October 2, and a CD single including both songs will release on November 26.
