Let's Go Kaikigumi Anime Adds Two New Cast Members

Two new faces (and voices!) are joining the upcoming adaptation of supernatural comedy Let's Go Kaikigumi . New character art has also been released for both cast additions. First up is Shurako, Mechako's cousin. She's constantly plotting to overthrow Mechako and take over the Kaikigumi for herself. Shurako will be voiced by Yoshino Aoyama , whose other voice credits include Hitori Goto in BOCCHI THE ROCK! and Miwa Mikadono in Dealing with Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze . Shurako Character Art It's not just humans who are joining the cast! Yuki Sakakihara will be voicing Doppelganger, a creature that can mimic any human form. It's said that a human who sees their own form mimicked by Doppelganger will die. Sakakihara's other roles include Polka Shinoyama in Dead Mount Death Play and Jushi Aimono in HYPNOSISMIC -Division Rap Battle- Rhyme Anima . Yutaka Hirata directs the TV anime adaptation at C-Station, with series composition and scripts by Mitsumi Ito, character designs by Yoshimitsu Yamashita and song collaboration by Uketsu. The story of Let's Go Kaikigumi follows a nameless protagonist who is six times more vulnerable to spiritual phenomena than the average human being. One day, the protagonist encounters Mechako, a mysterious girl who runs the Kaikigumi, an organization that polices the behavior of the ghosts and monsters that threaten human beings, and he somehow gets roped into helping the Kaikigumi re-establish itself, resulting in all sorts of strange events and spooky shenanigans.
