Kusunoki's Garden of Gods Light Novel Series Gets TV Anime in 2026

Kadokawa announced today that The Kusunoki's Garden of Gods light novel series, written by Enju and illustrated by ox, will be getting a TV anime next year. A teaser visual for the anime was released featuring Minato Kusunoki and his wolf spirit friend to commemorate the announcement. Nine volumes of the light novel and four volumes of the manga have been released in Japan, with Yen Press publishing the series in English, releasing the third volume on November 11. Yen Press describes the series as such: With the arrival of the freewheeling kirin and the stern ho’o, the Kusunoki household is more lively and divine than ever. The garden of gods changes to spring at the whim of the Yamagami, and Minato and the other residents spend their leisurely days watching the cherry blossoms and savoring seasonal delicacies. New beings wander into the garden, and Minato finds his way into other kami realms, proving that springtime truly is the season of new beginnings.
