Kusunoki's Garden of Gods Anime Reveals Casting for Yamagami

After last week's reveal of Minato Kusunoki's voice actor for the upcoming anime adaptation of the Kusunoki's Garden of Gods light novel series, this week, it's Yamagami's turn in the spotlight. Kadokawa announced tonight that Shinshu Fuji will take up the role of mountain god. A character reveal trailer was released alongside character visuals for both of Yamagami's forms. Shinshu Fuji is best known for voicing Rei Utsubo in The Fable , Kanetsugu Mato in Wave, Listen to Me! and is continuing to voice Rocks D. Xebec in the ONE PIECE anime.  Kusunoki's Garden of Gods Yamagami Character Trailer RELATED: Kusunoki's Garden of Gods Anime Casts Shogo Sakata in Lead Role The original  Kusunoki's Garden of Gods   story was posted on the  Shosetsuka ni Naro  website in 2021 and then picked up by ASCII Media Works for full publication later that year, along with a manga adaptation. Ten volumes of the light novel and four volumes of the manga have been released in Japan, with Yen Press publishing the series in English and releasing the third volume on November 11.  More details for the anime will be announced at Animate Girls Festival 2025 on November 9. Yen Press describes the series as such: With the arrival of the freewheeling kirin and the stern ho’o, the Kusunoki household is more lively and divine than ever. The garden of gods changes to spring at the whim of the Yamagami, and Minato and the other residents spend their leisurely days watching the cherry blossoms and savoring seasonal delicacies. New beings wander into the garden, and Minato finds his way into other kami realms, proving that springtime truly is the season of new beginnings.
