Nothing is as it seems in the walled city of Kowloon, especially for Reiko Kujirai. The anime adaptation of KOWLOON GENERIC ROMANCE is now underway, and creditless opening and ending videos present the nostalgic, surreal worldview of the new series. Yen Press also publishes an English language version of the series. Yoshiaki Iwasaki directs the TV anime at animation studio ARVO ANIMATION. Jin Tanaka provides the series composition and the scripts, Yuka Shibata provides the character designs and Yuji Kaneko provides the art direction. Crunchyroll currently streams KOWLOON GENERIC ROMANCE , describing the series thus: Real estate agents Reiko Kujirai and Hajime Kudo work in the nostalgic Kowloon Walled City. As they spend more time together, Reiko’s feelings for Hajime grow. But when she finds a photo of him and his former fiancée, she’s shocked to see the woman looks exactly like her.
