Ongoing seinen manga to TV anime adaptation KOWLOON GENERIC ROMANCE introduced a new cast member today and published a “Looking Back” trailer that recaps the events of the first half of the series. The series currently broadcasts in Japan, and Crunchyroll also streams it as part of the spring 2025 anime simulcast lineup. KOWLOON GENERIC ROMANCE “Looking Back” Trailer The new cast members include: Xiaohei (Young Man) voiced by Soma Saito (Seiryu Sakaki in WIND BREAKER ) Xiaohei (Young Man) and Soma Saito Since November 2019, Shueisha has serialized the original KOWLOON GENERIC ROMANCE manga by Jun Mayuzuki in their Weekly Young Jump seinen manga magazine. Yen Press also publishes an English language version of the series. Yoshiaki Iwasaki directs the TV anime at animation studio ARVO ANIMATION. Jin Tanaka provides the series composition and the scripts, Yuka Shibata provides the character designs and Yuji Kaneko provides the art direction.
