The TV anime based on the wrestling-themed shonen action manga Kinnikuman Perfect Origin Arc revealed at a special event held today at Yokohama Budokan that a third season for the series is currently in-production. The release date for the new season has not yet been revealed at the time of reporting. Additionally, a character song inspired by the new series is also in the works, carrying over the tradition of creating character-themed songs for the unique and colorful characters from the series from the earliest Kinnikuman anime, which began broadcasting in 1983.
