The Kingdom aired its final episode of the sixth season today…or so we initially thought! After the premiere of Episode 13 in Japan, the series' official accounts announced that a "sequel" to Season 6 is currently in production. A new announcement trailer and visual for the next release showcase a battle-scarred Bajio and Yang Duan He. Noboru Takagi, who has been in charge of series composition since Kingdom Season 3, confirmed that it is a second cour to Season 6 . A release date for the continuation was not announced at the time of reporting.
