A small handful of screenshots might not seem like much to go on, until you realize we’re talking about Kingdom Hearts IV . Not only have we not had much to look at for a while, but fans can squeeze blood from a stone when it comes to the rare appearance of new media. One of the screenshots featured appears to show a playable King Mickey. This wouldn’t be a first for the prominent mascot, as Mickey has been playable in a limited capacity in the past. There’s currently no release window in place for Kingdom Hearts IV , but the former’s cancellation notice mentioned that the team is still “hard at work” on it. The screenshots also came with a similarly encouraging message: To our Kingdom Hearts community, We’re currently working hard on Kingdom Hearts IV and will continue pouring ourselves into the game’s development. We’re dedicated to making this an experience that lives up to your expectations! We’ve seen how excited you are, and we are truly grateful from the bottom of our hearts.
