A brand-new teaser visual and four additional cast members were revealed for the Kill Again, Mr. Detective? anime before its planned April 2026 broadcast today. Anime Adaptation Announced for April 2026 Takashi Naoya ( Tales of Wedding Rings ) directs the Killed Again, Mr. Detective? anime at studio LIDEN FILMS, with series composition by Mio Inoue ( My Awkward Senpai ), character designs by Akiko Kumada ( Ishura sub character design) and music by Shuhei Mutsuki ( Lycoris Recoil ). Teniwoha and Riichu created the original light novels. Yen Press publishes an official English version of Inaba's manga adaptation and describes the story: Sakuya Outsuki is the son of a legendary detective, striving to follow in his father’s footsteps with the help of his assistant, Lilithea. This isn’t your average high-school sleuth, though-because he comes back to life every time he’s killed! Being a little too familiar with death and always awakening to Lilithea by his side, Sakuya’s happy to take on low-risk cases.
