The third show of the stage play adaptation of Koji Yanagi's spy mystery novel series JOKER GAME is set to return in November 2025. It will have been seven years and five months since the previous second show in June 2018. The stage play's official website and X (formerly Twitter) have posted an announcement trailer and an illustration key visual for the third show. JOKER GAME Stage Play 3rd Show Announcement Trailer Illustration Key Visual The first show of the stage play series performed at Zepp Blue Theater Roppongi in Tokyo in May 2017, with the second show following at Theater 1010 in Tokyo and at Mielparque Osaka in Osaka in Jun 2018. The third show is set to perform at The Galaxy Theater in Tokyo from November 21 to 30, 2025. The first two show's writer and director Daisuke Nishida ( Sengoku BASARA stage play series) is set to return. Their roles have not yet been revealed, but the main cast members include Reo Honda, Shin'ichi Hashimoto, Hiroki Kajita, Naotake Tsuchiya, Kohei Shiota, Jun Noguchi, Daiya Hayakawa, Jin Aoki, Yuusuke Yada, and Masashi Taniguchi. The original novel author Yanagi said, "The first stage play in seven years, What a surprise that there will be an original episode in the show this time, which I am greatly looking forward to as the author of the original novel!" Director Nishida also added, "The stage play of JOKER GAME willl return with a new look. I am thrilled to be able to express that detailed and thrilling worldview again as a play. The people who lived as shadows at the time, and the thoughts and feelings that lie behind them. Yuuki of the Imperial Army secretly establishes a spy training organization called the "D Agency." Those chosen as members of the agency, in opposition to the national trend toward reverence of native-born soldiers in the army, are civilian university graduates who pass the superhuman selection test with flying colors.
