Japan Box Office: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Returns to No.8 in 28th Weekend

After disappearing from the Top 10 for the second time last weekend , Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle climbed up again to eighth place in its 28th weekend, according to Kogyo Tsushinsha . The film's 192-day total domestic gross has now reached 39.14 billion yen (253.6 million USD) on 26.84 million admissions. The extended theatrical run, which has continued since last July, has been sustained by the distribution of bonus items to attendees, now reaching the 14th item . Starting January 24, the first 300,000 attendees received a clear stand featuring the film's teaser visual. "Support screenings" of the film, where audience members can cheer aloud during the movie, have also been held in theaters nationwide since last December, with more to screen on January 31 and February 3 . Additionally, the IMAX screening of the film in Japan — which is the first-ever in the history of Japanese anime movies — will start on February 6, 2026, with the first 100,000 theatergoers receiving an A5-sized "IMAX Visual Illustration Board."
