After making a record-breaking debut last weekend , Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle , a new feature film from the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime franchise, earned 3.099 billion yen (20.86 million USD) on 2.212 million admissions in its second weekend of July 25-27, down 44% from its opening weekend, staying at No.1 for two consecutive weekends according to Kogyo Tsushinsha . As reported , the film surpassed 10 billion yen (67.3 million USD) in box office gross in eight days since release on July 18, breaking the previous record of ten days set by Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Movie: Mugen Train in October 2020, becoming the fastest film ever released in Japan to surpass the 10 billion yen mark.
