IGN Fan Fest Reveals New Trailers for ‘Directive 8020’, ‘Shark Dentist’ and More [Watch]

Of course, IGN wasn’t just going to reveal trailers for upcoming films during IGN Fan Fest yesterday. A bunch of accolade, gameplay and reveal trailers were also dropped for several new and upcoming horror titles. Here’s a rundown of the goods:

Selecta Play and Broken Bird Games’ psychological horror game Luto got some love with a new accolades trailer three months after the game’s launch. Luto is available now on the PlayStation 5, the Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, with a physical Special Edition available for the PlayStation 5.

Despite the delay to the first half of 2026, Supermassive and Bandai Namco still had time to drop a new trailer showing off some of the gameplay for The Dark Pictures: Directive 8020, which is currently in development for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.

Living up to the trailer’s name, players on repeat playthroughs in Terminator 2D: NO FATE will be able to alter the events of the classic sci-fi action film, which will ripple throughout the rest of your playthrough. Look for the game on November 26 for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and the Nintendo Switch.

With Steam Next Fest in full swing, Brigada Games and Devolver Digital have released a new demo for their upcoming strategy survival sim Quarantine Zone: The Last Check. You man a checkpoint during a zombie outbreak, where your job is to screen incoming survivors, manage scarce resources, and hold back the undead. The game is expected next month on Steam.

The release of Frontier Developments’ Jurassic World Evolution 3 is right around the corner, and the devteam has released another trailer highlighting another dinosaur — in this case, the Therizinosaurus — that you’ll be able to incorporate into your park. Look for Jurassic World Evolution 3 on October 21 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Yes, despite science showing that sharks regrow their teeth, there’s just something creepy about leaning into a shark’s mouth for dentistry. That’s exactly what you get with the latest gameplay trailer for Alice Games’ Shark Dentist, which will be heading to Steam.

Daedalic Entertainment and developer DALOAR’s The Occultist will be seeing a release in the new year. But until then, the devs offer up a taste of just what you’ll be doing with the power of your pendulum to navigate the foggy streets and eerie buildings of Godstone. The Occultist is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam.

Fireshine Games and Pulsatrix Studios’ A.I.L.A is still scheduled to arrive on Steam later this year (with a future release on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series). In the meantime, the devs are showing fans what to expect with the latest gameplay trailer for their upcoming first-person horror game set in a near-future filled with immersive technology.

The long wait for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is almost over. In this new trailer, The Chinese Room delves into the Clan of Divas with the Toreador characters of Seattle, their “Celerity” and “Presence” clan affinities, and the “Cat’s Grace” passive ability that allows for faster movement after feeding. Bloodlines 2 will hit October 21 for Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5.
