The upcoming anime adaptation of the dark fantasy yuri romance manga I Want to Love You Till Your Dying Day from Aono Nachi revealed its first trailer this evening, giving us our first taste of the animation style as well as details on more of the staff members working on the series. School Idol Project ). Yasushi Tomoda serves as assistant director. The series is set to premiere in July 2026. Kodansha USA publishes an English-language version of the series, and describes the story of the first volume as follows: Death lurks behind a mysterious orphanage where children train to become magical weapons of war. Among them is Sheena, who longs to stop the fighting and end the conflict. On one gruesome night, Sheena meets a strange girl covered in blood, with a smile on her face. The mysterious girl turns out to be a secret weapon—an immortal child soldier named Mimi. When the two become roommates, there is growing tension and attraction.
