Horror Goes Off the Deep End in ‘Amityville Pool Toy Massacre’

In the cursed town of Amityville, the horror has finally gone off the deep end with Amityville Pool Toy Massacre.

The indie horror-comedy is described as a gleefully gory, over-the-top send-up of ’80s practical effects creature features and cursed-house horror, all soaked in blood, boobs, and belly laughs.

When two bored best friends discover a dusty old book and a Ouija board in their Airbnb, they do what any self-respecting horror movie characters would do: ignore every warning and read it out loud. What follows is a wet and wild nightmare as possessed pool toys come to life.

As the bodies (and inflatables) pile up, a new group of unsuspecting friends arrives, only to find themselves stalked by demonic pool noodles, killer blow-up unicorns, and a mysterious evil bubbling beneath the surface.

Add in a grizzled local with a haunted past, a wannabe hero with a badge and a bad attitude, and a cursed book that refuses to stay closed, and you’ve got the ultimate splash-zone slaughter.

Diana Prince (“The Last Drive-In”) stars alongside Fallon Vendetta, Mel Heflin, Madilynn Paige, Zoe Angeli, and Kaity McAllister.

Newt Wallen writes, directs, and produces via his Schlock and Awe Films. Marc Schoenbach designed the poster below.

“I set out to make the best Amityville cash-in movie ever made in Delaware,” Wallen tells Bloody Disgusting. “And seeing as how I don’t think any other Amityville cash-in movie has ever been made in Delaware, I’d say we succeeded ”

Amityville Pool Toy Massacre is due out in Summer 2026.
