Next year, SUNHOSEKI's Hoppe-chan mascot franchise celebrates its 15th anniversary with its very own anime adaptation. Today, we get our first look at the adorable slime-like creatures in action, thanks to the anime's first trailer — at the same time locking in a January 2026 premiere. Yoko Yonaiyama ( mono ) will handle series composition, with Takahiro Nagano ( Duel Masters ) and Saji Komori ( PuniRunes ) collaborating with Yonaiyama on scriptwriting. Gurin. and 1ssaKawaguchi will provide character designs. The anime will follow two adjacent storylines. In the adorable world of the Sun Kingdom, a Hoppe-chan who has lost her memories joins the battle to protect the kingdom from the machinations of toxic, "uncute" slimes.
