Himitsu no AiPri Anime Film Announced

Himitsu no AiPri , the latest installment in the Pretty Rhythm media mix franchise, will be making its cinematic debut next year! A new movie, titled Himitsu no AiPri: Mankai Buzzlume Live! , is set to premiere on March 13, 2026 . A new teaser video shows both the high points of the series so far, as well as what's to come in the film. Protagonists Himari and Mitsuki also express their gratitude to their faithful fans. However, an "incident" occurs at the competition. The film will also feature a concert segment, and fans are encouraged to cheer during screenings. Gigaemon Ichikawa handled series composition, with Yuki Nagano penning character designs based on original designs by Hiromi Nashimoto (Sin Sophia). Season 2 premiered on April 6, 2025. The idol-themed Pretty Series franchise was launched with its first arcade game Pretty Rhythm: Mini Skirt in July 2010. Then it expanded to the three Pretty Rhythm TV anime series from 2011 to 2014. After that, it was succeeded by the two Pripara series, Pripara and Idol Time Pripara from 2014 to 2018, Kiratto Pri☆Chan from 2018 to 2021, and Waccha Primagi! from 2021 to 2022.
