The ongoing adaptation based on the dark fantasy action manga Hell's Paradise revealed a new cast member today. Beginning with episode 17, voice actor Ayumu Murase portrays Shija , a deranged assassin of the Iwagakure clan. The series is currently broadcasting in Japan, and Crunchyroll also streams it as part of the winter 2026 anime simulcast lineup. Ayumu Murase and Shija Yuji Kaku published the original Hell's Paradise manga via Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ app from January 2018 to January 2021, with a total of 13 volumes in the series. VIZ Media publishes an English -language version of the series under the title Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku . Kaori Makita directs the Hell's Paradise TV anime at animation studio MAPPA, with series composition by Akira Kindaichi, character designs by Akitsugu Hisagi and music by Yoshiaki Dewa. Crunchyroll describes Hell's Paradise : Gabimaru reigns as the strongest and most ruthless assassin in his village.
