Every week, Nube-sensei hunts down demons, ghosts and other paranormal beings making his students' lives difficult. But in episode 9, the monster of the week actually appears to be making people happy! The next episode of Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube features a guest appearance from Ayana Taketatsu (Nino Nakano in The Quintessential Quintuplets ) as a cheerful Zashiki-warashi: a yokai that brings good fortune. But when Nube's students grow complacent and rely solely on their newfound luck, something must be done. Shueisha serialized the original Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube manga by Sho Makura and Takeshi Okano from August 1993 – May 1999 in their Weekly Shonen Jump manga magazine, and the series was also published in Japan in 31 collected volumes. Yasuyuki Oishi directs the TV anime at Studio KAI. Yoshiki Okusa provides the series composition, Yuu Yoshiyama provides the character designs and Evan Call provides the music. The story of Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube is described as follows: A number of inexplicable phenomena have been plaguing the town of Domori. In order to protect the town's children, a new homeroom teacher known as “Nube” arrives. Normally gentle and a bit outgoing, Nube has a secret side: he is, in fact, the only psychic teacher in Japan. Rumor also has it his left hand is possessed by a demon! Hell's messenger of justice is here to take on the school's seven mysteries, ghosts, and evil spirits attacking his students.
