Some key findings include: 51% respondents plan to spend about the same on Halloween as last year. Online searches remain the leading source for Halloween inspiration with 33%.
30% of participants plan to wear two or more costumes this season. Taylor Swift (26%) and Sabrina Carpenter (23%) top this year’s most-anticipated celebrity costumes.
45% of people do most of their Halloween shopping in early October. 75% say home/yard decorating is the same or increasing. Just over half of workplaces hand out candy.
The vibe for Halloween 2025 leans toward cute and funny with 25% and 23%, respectively, but scary themes still hold strong interest with 19%.
