An anime adaptation is officially in the works for Haibara’s Teenage New Game+ , a novel series written by Kazuki Amamiya and illustrated by Gin. Further details have yet to be announced, but the official HJ Bunko X (formerly Twitter) account shared the news along with the above announcement image. There’s also a full-color vertical manga adaptation featuring the art of Misaomaru. J-Novel Club publishes the original novels in English and sums up the story like so: We all have embarrassing memories or deep regrets from high school, right? Socially anxious college senior Natsuki Haibara sure does. When he thinks back on that time of his life, all he has are fleeting fantasies of a happy adolescence that could have been.
