Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Frankenstein’ Gets 2 New Posters Ahead of Friday’s Netflix Release

Netflix has released a pair of new posters for Guillermo del Toro‘s Frankenstein featuring Oscar Isaac as Victor Frankenstein, Jacob Elordi as the monster, and Mia Goth as Elizabeth Lavenza.

Let them be monsters together in the adaptation of Mary Shelley‘s genre-defining 1818 novel, now playing in select theaters and streaming this Friday, November 7, on Netflix.

Brilliant but egotistical scientist Victor Frankenstein brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that ultimately leads to the undoing of both the creator and his tragic creation.

Christoph Waltz (Inglourious Basterds), Felix Kammerer (All Quiet on the Western Front), Lars Mikkelsen (“Ahsoka”), David Bradley (Harry Potter), Christian Convery (“Sweet Tooth”), Ralph Ineson (The Witch), and Charles Dance (“Game of Thrones”) round out the cast.

Meagan Navarro wrote in her review, “There’s no question that Frankenstein is absolutely breathtaking, with imagery and set pieces that instantly embed themselves in your memory. It showcases del Toro’s strength as a filmmaker, creating immersive worlds that enhance what he does best: championing monsters and their tragic humanity instead of using them to scare us.”

Netflix is celebrating the release of Frankenstein with a collection of merchandise, including a skull popcorn bucket.
