GARO Franchise 20th Anniversary Movie TAIGA Releases Teaser Trailer, Character Visuals

The official website for <GARO> TAIGA , the GARO tokusatsu franchise's 20th anniversary film, has released a teaser trailer and the four main cast members' individual visuals in costume. Shoichiro Kitada is cast as the film's protagonist, Taiga Saejima, as his first lead role in a feature film. Rika Kashima plays the main heroine, Fuki, who works together with Taiga, and K azuki Namioka plays Byakko, the holy beast who controls the power of wind. Additionally, Toshiki Seto plays Jyado, the main enemy Horror in the film as his first villain role in a hero film. And the voice of Zaruba, the magic ring that supports Taiga as his partner, is voiced by anisong singer Hironobu Kageyama . As its title suggests, the protagonist of the film is Taiga Saejima, the father of the protagonist, Kouga Saejima. It depicts the activities of the young Taiga, which have not been revealed until now. Keita Amamiya ( Zeiram , Kamen Rider ZO ), the original creator of the franchise, serves as director on a screenplay by himself. It has been six years since Amamiya directed and wrote the screenplay for a theatrical film in the franchise, since Garo: Under the Moonbow in 2019. Currently, Crunchyroll streams two of the GARO anime series — the second TV anime series in 2015-2016, GARO: CRIMSON MOON , and the third TV anime series in 2017-2018, GARO -VANISHING LINE- .
