The official YouTube channel for the GARO tokusatsu franchise posted a main trailer for its upcoming 20th anniversary film, <GARO> TAIGA, which is set to release in Japan on October 17, 2025. In addition to introducing the main characters, including the protagonist Taiga Saejima played by Shoichiro Kitada, the clip also features the film's theme song "TAIGA ~ Mamorishimono yo Kaze no Gotoku ~" ("TAIGA ~ "The Protector, Like the Wind") performed by anisong group JAM Project. As its title suggests, the protagonist of <GARO> TAIGA is Taiga Saejima, the father of the protagonist, Kouga Saejima. It depicts the activities of the young Taiga, which have not been revealed until now. The synopsis reads: The Saejima family is a family of Makai Kight who have inherited the title of "Golden Knight Garo." Saejima Taiga is a young knight who was born into the family and has just inherited the golden armor. While he spends his days fighting the demonic beasts called Horror, he receives a new command: "Reclaim the "Rashinban" ('Compass') that has fallen into the hands of Horror – the magical tool in which the soul of the "Seiju" (‘sacred beast’) resides.
