Following Rudo , Enjin , and Zanka visuals and trailers, the official website and X (formerly Twitter) for the upcoming Gachiakuta TV anime released a new short trailer and visual for another main character, Riyo. Yumiri Hanamori (Nadeshiko Kagamihara in Laid-Back Camp ) voices the character, who is described on the site as "A Giver who expertly wields the vital instrument 'the Ripper' with her feet. Normally cheerful and playful, she becomes strikingly pragmatic in battle." The tagline on the visual reads: "I sure am itching to go up against such a big, tough guy!" Based on the manga by Kei Urana and graffiti artist Hideyoshi Andou, Fumihiko Suganuma ( DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai episode director) directs the anime at studio bones film, with series composition by Hiroshi Seko ( DAN DA DAN ), character designs/chief animation direction by Satoshi Ishino ( Godzilla Singular Point ) and music by Taku Iwasaki ( Gurren Lagann ). Kodansha USA publishes an official English version of the manga. The series is described as such: Crawl back from the abyss of Hell to change this lousy world! Rudo lives in the slums of a floating town, where the poor scrape by under the shadow of the rich who live a sumptuous life, simply casting their garbage off the side, into the abyss.
