Futago Kamikita's Precure Manga Series to Conclude After 22 Years

The official website for Kodansha's Nakayoshi monthly shojo magazine announced today that the serialization of the You and Idol Precure manga, illustrated Futago Kamikita, will end in the magazine's next February 2026 issue scheduled to release in Japan on December 27. Additionally, the magazine announced at the same time that Kamikita's 22-year-long Precure manga series will also come to an end. The statement reads: "The serialization of the Precure series by Futago Kamikita-sensei finally concludes with the February issue's You and Idol Precure (Final Chapter)…! Thank you for all your support up until now. Thank you so much for supporting for 22 years." Kamikita's Precure manga series is highly regarded even among Precure fans, with the early tankobon volumes published by Kodansha fetching premium prices.
