Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 2 to Stream on Crunchyroll in January 2026

Just announced during the Frieren: Beyond the Journey panel at Anime Expo 2025, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 2 will officially stream on Crunchyroll as it airs in Japan in January 2026 . The news was revealed as a surprise during the event, which featured a panel of guests from the Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End production team, including Chiaki Kobayashi, the Japanese voice of Stark, as well as producer Yuichiro Fukushi and series composer Evan Call. The three discussed their own journeys in working on the beloved series, which captured the hearts of fans around the world throughout its first season and went on to earn several wins at this year’s Crunchyroll Anime Awards, including Best Director (Keiichiro Saito), Best Background Art, Best Drama, and Best Supporting Character (Fern).
