After a hiatus of about half a year, the fantasy manga Frieren: Beyond Journey's End will resume serialization in the 34th issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine , scheduled to release in Japan on July 23, 2025. The manga previously went on hiatus in January. Shogakukan additionally revealed in a press release, as well as on the Frieren X (formerly Twitter) account, that the manga series has reached a milestone of over 30 million copies in circulation worldwide. Kanehito Yamada writes and Tsukasa Abe illustrates Frieren: Beyond Journey's End , which began in April 2020 with 14 volumes released in Japan to date. VIZ Media publishes an English-language version of the series. Crunchyroll currently streams the TV anime adaptation of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End , which continues with a second season in January 2026 .
