Meat Kills
Debuting on Screambox this week is the gruesome Dutch horror film Meat Kills. “Vleesdag,” as it is called in the original Dutch, follows an animal rights activist who infiltrates a horrific slaughterhouse to film and expose their cruelty. You can imagine where it goes from there.

We’ve seen reports that this is the first Dutch film to ever receive the 18+ rating. True or not, it makes sense because Bloody staffers have compared the film to Green Room, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Wolf Creek, and more.

The Changeling
Peter Medak’s tragi-horror about a grieving composer is replete with fall vibes. Watch George C. Scott navigate a big spooky mansion, read some old maps in a giant library, and generally wander about in the grey mists of the Pacific Northwest.

Uncontained
Uncontained is a compelling, frigid take on apocalyptic horror. The singular vision of Morley Nelson, who wrote, directed, produced and stars as a drifter who discovers abandoned children on a frozen tundra, beset by a mysterious violent horde of people. Watch it and wonder what awaits us in the frozen winter to come.

The Hell House LLC Franchise
Speaking of singular and distinct horror visions, why not check out Stephen Cognetti’s Hell House LLC franchise? This five film found footage franchise, all written and directed by Cognetti, follows a documentary crew as they investigate various haunted locales. Binge it all while you wait to carve up some Thanksgiving horror.
