First-Person Slasher ‘Daimon Blades’ Out Today on Steam [Trailer]

Developer StreumOn Studio have unleashed their up-close-and-personal first-person slasher Daimon Blades today into Steam Early Access, where it’s expected to remain in the service for an anticipated full launch next summer. The Early Access launch includes a limited-time 10% discount from now until October 20.

Not only that, but those who do snag the game during Early Access will be rewarded with the exclusive Secreta Secretorum bundle. This exclusive bundle includes weapon and armor skins that pay tribute to StreumOn’s original 2011 title, E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy, as well as a digital PDF artbook, and original soundtrack in MP3 and lossless formats. While the artbook and OST will be available for purchase once the game launches in 1.0, both skins will only be available during Early Access.

The story sees players take up arms as a member of the Secreta, a shadowy cult of warrior monks sworn to contain the rising tides of daimonic incursions, and face relentless abominations while descending deeper and deeper into the Daimon realm. The Hermit, your Mentor, betrayed the order and fled into the depths of Chaos after unhearthing the lost Temple. You must find the Arch-traitor and put a stop to his soul-devouring ritual.

To do so, you must outfight and decimate ghastly abominations hailing from a corrupted dimension, tearing through flanks of beastly opposition with devastatingly powerful weaponry. Loot and customize Daimon infused hammers, swords and shields that empower you with unholy abilities, and try to contain your growing corruption.

You won’t have to go it alone. Forge alliances to spill blood in groups of up to four for a sinfully fun approach to Daimon Blades’ gauntlet of death. Fight to keep the daimons at bay, and to see the light of future additions the devteam plans to add on the road to the full 1.0 launch.
