The days are officially numbered for Final Fantasy Brave Exvius , the free-to-play mobile RPG that first launched in Japan in October 2015. Square Enix announced plans to end service a decade later, setting the shutdown date for October 31 in Japan. The end of the Japanese version marks the full shutdown for the game, which had its global version end service on October 30, 2024. The official accounts announced a Grand Finale Campaign leading up to the end-of-service date. Square Enix will also distribute a Memorial Edition of the game—letting players check out Units and Vision Cards—on iOS and Android sometime after service ends. Final Fantasy Brave Exvius also inspired a spinoff, War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius , which launched in Japan in November 2019 and globally in February 2020.
