Today, Pixelity Inc. has revealed EVANGELION: Δ CROSS REFLECTIONS : a game project that will employ both virtual reality and mixed reality to bring the world of Hideaki Anno's Neon Genesis Evangelion to life. The project is planned as a trilogy covering the scope of the original 26-episode TV series, with EVANGELION: Δ CROSS REFLECTIONS covering episodes 1-11. Players will take on the role of a hopeful NERV pilot and will meet other NERV trainees along their journey. The game plans to employ state-of-the-art technology to be as immersive as possible for long-time fans who want a deeper look into the world of the story. For newcomers, it aims to be "a highly polished entry point" to the show. Pixelity Inc. has yet to establish a solid release date for the game, but states that a playable demo will be available in the first half of 2026 and the game itself will be available sometime that year.
