Nearly three years after the project was initially announced , the anime adaptation of Kappy's Eren the Southpaw web manga today announced a planned April 2026 broadcast with a new teaser trailer and visual. A remake version illustrated by nifuni was published on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ from October 2017 to October 2022, and was collected into 24 volumes. The story follows Koichi Asakura, a designer for an ad agency who works hard but receives no recognition. After being dropped from a project, he visits a place from his past, where he met Eren Yamagishi.
