Eli Roth’s ‘Cabin Fever’ Infects 4K SteelBook from Lionsgate Limited This January

One of Quentin Tarantino’s favorite movies of the 21st century, Eli Roth’s debut horror movie Cabin Fever is getting a brand new 4K Ultra HD SteelBook from Lionsgate Limited.

Now up for pre-order, the Cabin Fever 4K SteelBook will release January 13, 2026.

The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray + Blu-ray + Digital Copy SteelBook is selling for $34.99.

This release marks the 4K debut of the 2003 horror-comedy that introduced Eli Roth to the horror world and paved the way for films including Hostel and Thanksgiving.

The brand new SteelBook art by Orlando “Mexifunk” Arocena pays tribute to the film’s spooky backwoods elements and the secluded-cabin-in-the-woods horror genre.

The release features lenticular art and the Lionsgate Limited Extras “Scratching the Surface: A Look Back” and “Establishing Shot with Eli Roth,” along with legacy special features.

Those legacy special features, previously available on the DVD and Blu-ray editions, include commentaries, deleted scenes, featurettes, and Eli Roth’s short “The Rotten Fruit.”

Quentin Tarantino said of Cabin Fever this month, “Eli’s sense of humor, sense of gore — it just really, really works. People kind of forget how tense it is in the first half because it gets so genuinely funny in the last 20 minutes. Hostel might be his best movie, but this is my favorite.”
