Elden Ring Nightreign Receives New Two Player Mode Later This Week [Trailer]

Elden Ring Nightreign fans will be able to team up to take on Night’s terrors later this week when Duo Expeditions will be added in patch 1.02 on July 30. In addition to the new two player mode, the patch will include quality-of-life UI improvements, including more Relics filtering options.

Recently announced by From Software as having now sold over 5 million since its launch last May, Elden Ring Nightreign is set in a universe parallel to the events of Elden Ring, and will thrust players into co-op multiplayer PvE combat against a harsh and unforgiving world. Teaming up in squads of three – or daring to go solo – they must outlast a three day-and-night cycle, making split decisions about combat and exploration across a changing map to become strong enough to take down terrifying bosses at the end of each day.

Elden Ring Nightreign is available for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series and the Xbox One.

Meanwhile, an updated version of the original Elden Ring in Elden Ring Tarnished Edition is slated to arrive later this year for PC and consoles, including the Nintendo Switch 2. Tarnished Edition includes the base game, the game’s major DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, along with new armor, weapons and customization features for Torrent’s appearance.
